Canyon is a narrow linear LED luminaire with a distinctive 1.25″ aperture running the length of the housing. Using advanced LED engines and optical control, Canyon provides wide spread uplight and a gentle glow of downlight from a 90/10 indirect and direct light distribution. delivering both efficient and comfortable illumination. Canyon is offered in a choice of color temperatures, together with comprehensive electrical and controls options.
Product DownloadsCustom array of mid-flux LEDs are cartridge-mounted with quick connect wiring to facilitate service and thermal management. Available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K with a minimum 80+ CRI and an option for 90+ CRI with elevated R9 value. Color consistency maintained to within 3 SDCM. LEDs operate at reduced drive current to optimize efficacy and lumen maintenance.
The High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO) shielding of diffusing 0.075″ thick acrylic with up to 88% transmission and good source obscuration is combined with matte white side reflectors to create an efficient optical chamber with uniform luminosity. Luminaire brightness is controlled by the flux-to shielding area ratio.
CENTER LENS – PRECISION MICRO-PRISM-OPTIC (PMO) – utilizes a specially designed catadioptric lens that combines refraction and internal reflection. The square-base prism is 24% the size of those used in a high-performance fluorescent lens. The exclusive two-dimensional array of prisms is designed to eliminate the glare found at higher viewing angles and as such, enables a glare cut-off at a 45º viewing angle.
The acrylic material itself is untinted, relying entirely on catadioptric control for effective source obscuration. A highly efficient TIR process at the acrylic-air interface on the prism surfaces redirects incident light with less than a 0.1% loss per reflection. As a result, these LumenWerx optics attain a high optical efficiency greater than 90%, while maintaining visual comfort at normal viewing angles and presenting a pleasing luminous appearance.

Canyon uses a highly efficient indirect batwing distribution paired with a softly controlled direct component to create comfortable, uniform ambient lighting. The indirect optic pushes light wide across the ceiling with a batwing curve, which supports generous spacing between rows while maintaining a bright, even ceiling plane that visually opens up the space.
On the downlight side, a PMO optic with roughly 45° cutoff shields high-angle brightness so the 1.25″ aperture reads as a gentle, continuous glow rather than a harsh line of light. This combination of wide, efficient uplight and glare-controlled downlight helps Canyon deliver both visual comfort and strong overall illumination, making it well suited to open offices, corridors, and collaborative environments.
